Hello, my name is Celina Mendoza, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am a bilingual and a bicultural Hispanic clinician. I am passionate about helping individuals overcome their unique life’s challenges and guide them in a positive and safe environment.
I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from California State University, Fresno. I have experience working in different social work settings including: Child Protective Social Services, school districts, home health and hospice agencies. My goal is to help each client identify their goals, strengths and help each client develop reasonable solutions.
My clinical expertise includes working with issues such as: anger, domestic violence, academic difficulties, parenting struggles, self-esteem, depression, and anxiety. My therapeutic approach is client centered, strength-based, and trauma-informed. In therapy, I utilize different modalities including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Brief Solution Focused Therapy.
