MEET

Life can bring so much happiness, although with that happiness, life can also bring on some challenges. Challenges that will sometimes feel impossible to overcome. You may feel stuck in a relationship, difficulty managing work-life balance, finding you struggle with positive self-esteem, stress in parenting children, having feelings of isolation, or grieving the loss of a loved one.  Do these challenges keep you from enjoying what life has to offer?  Therapy is a wonderful process to discover the root of where these struggles are coming from and ways to overcome them. You can be happy again, you can move past a difficult stage, you can find hope and love within yourself. How can this be achieved? First is by accepting it is ok to ask for help, and second is to trust yourself and the therapeutic process no matter how difficult it may become. Therapy brings up some difficult feelings that can be hard to process, although the therapeutic environment should be a safe and empowering place to meet those challenges and learn to grow.

I am a licensed marriage family therapist who provides a safe, positive, confidential and non- judgmental environment. I embrace your strengths and empower you to meet those challenges and collaboratively develop a plan to help you achieve your goals.  I have worked with multiple populations such as couples, parents, children, adolescents as well as multiple psychiatric disorders such as depression, anxiety, mood, psychosis, trauma, and substance abuse.  I have experience working with individuals, groups, as well as telehealth counseling. I have had the pleasure of working in an inpatient psychiatric hospital where I provided crisis intervention, groups, brief individual and family therapy. I have worked with case management programs providing therapy and resources to homeless individuals, counseling for parents of children with serve psychiatric disorders, and telehealth therapy.

I most commonly utilize evidence-based client centered therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Strategic Therapy and Psychoanalytic Therapy.

My goal is to help you make changes in your life that reflect your authentic self and lead you to a life that is full of happiness, self-love, and internal strength to help you conquer any other challenges you may face.
