I am a biracial female Licensed Clinical Social Worker using the pronouns she/her/hers. I currently live in Oakland, California by way of the East Coast. I have been practicing clinical social work in the secondary school setting since 2012. Prior to my work in schools I provided clinical case management support for families experiencing homelessness in the greater Los Angeles area. I obtained my Masters in Social Work in 2011 from the University of Southern California with an emphasis in Mental Health and Schools.
I have a decade of experience working with adolescents, young adults and their families. Personal and professional experience has led me to be able to support multicultural, multi ethnic and biracial individuals in a unique way. My expertise is in helping those who are seeking relief from the pain of depression, anxiety or general sadness. If you are looking for individualized support and the opportunity to reflect, grow and interrupt negative cycles you may want to explore the intuitive wellness journey with me.
I believe in creating a sacred and supportive space for healing that is unique for each client. My approach is one of personal empowerment and holistic wellness. I will utilize elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution-focused and Strength Based techniques in order to promote and emphasize personal growth and well-being.
I welcome and invite you to treat yourself in becoming the best version of you. It would be my pleasure to explore and navigate the things that are not feeling good to you, the things that don't have a place in your ideal happiness or simply the things in need of letting go.
